An exam is required before we can schedule a patient for a procedure. Depending on the type of procedure, pre-anesthetic blood work may also be required. We will generate a treatment plan/estimate to outline all costs included in the procedure during the patient exam.

A pre-procedure deposit is taken at the time of the procedure scheduling.

Pre-Op Instructions:

  • 48-hour cancellation, $150 deposit.
  • No food after 8 p.m. the night before the procedure. Water is okay unless instructed otherwise.
  • Drop-off time is scheduled by the front desk team, typically between 8-8:30 a.m.
  • Procedures typically take place around the lunch hour. We’ll call you with an update as soon as the patient is in recovery and give you a release time, typically after 4 p.m. We will explain post-care and medication instructions at this time.
  • The patient must be current on the rabies vaccine unless under 16 weeks of age.
  • The patient is fully anesthetized.
  • Spay/neuter patients are asked to restrict movement and are seen ten days post-procedure for a follow-up exam and suture removal.

For Ultrasound Specialists:

  • 48-hour cancellation, $150 deposit.
  • No food after 8 p.m. the night before the procedure. Water is okay unless instructed otherwise.
  • Drop-off time is scheduled by the front desk team, typically between 8-8:30 a.m.
  • The owner will be called with an update as soon as the procedure is finished. On the call, patient release time is scheduled, and post-care instructions and medications are explained.
  • The patient must be current on rabies vaccine unless under 16 weeks of age.
  • The patient may need to be sedated.
