With a network that spans across the country and even internationally, As Good as Gold works tirelessly to ensure every dog—regardless of age or medical need—has the chance to find a loving, forever home.
Run entirely by passionate volunteers, the organization coordinates the full continuum of care from rescue to placement, and shares our values of compassion, responsible stewardship, and continuous improvement. Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of dogs who need it most—one golden heart at a time.

Montana’s Second Chance
Montana, a sweet 14-year-old Beagle mix, found himself in a heartbreaking situation when his original family could no longer care for him. Relinquished with love but heavy hearts, he came to us in need of a fresh start.
With the support of a wonderful foster mom and the amazing team at As Good As Gold Rescue, Montana got just that—tail wagging, eyes bright, and spirits lifted.
Then came his perfect match: a loving family who welcomed him home with open arms (and plenty of belly rubs). Now Montana is thriving—snuggled up in his favorite banana pajamas, loved beyond measure, in his fur-ever home. 🐾❤️
